We are back with another coffee shop spotlight, this time we travel to sunny Croydon to check out what’s going on. This week sees some lovely smaller shops, celebrating quality, sustainability and produce.
Coco & Nut is a wonderful independent cafe in South Croydon, they serve amazing organic coffee, along with a fruitful selection of delicious food and snacks – including homemade cakes and some of the freshest pastries in Croydon.
A personal favourite of ours is their oat matcha latte, the jungle like greens and refreshing taste will transport you somewhere that isn’t a rainy London.
To keep things interesting, they also offer romantic cheese and wine evenings, giving YOU the opportunity to impress a loved one. If you’re in the area, be sure to check them out!

You can feel the passion for speciality coffee throughout the entire business, Mr Tinto plays homage to owner Fransisco’s Columbian heritage and his love for coffee. This spot is a fantastic addition to the growing London speciality coffee community, the passion shines through and you won’t be disappointed when indulging in a brew.

The Little Coffee Shop is a great hidden gem in the heart of South Croydon. The shop itself may be small, however the food and coffee certainly make a big mark. By priding themselves on the quality and freshness of their produce, I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed when digging into a scrumptious sandwich.
This is what small independent coffee shops are all about, amazing service, great coffee and a friendly atmosphere. There really isn’t much more you need.

What a name! Having opened in 2019, you can imagine the hurdles Bob’s Your Uncle must have had to go through to open during a pandemic. That being said, we’re glad they made it, and what a mark they’ve made.
With a highlight on quality and sustainability, watching the coffees and food roll out is nothing but mouthwatering.
They also exhibit some of London’s finest artists on the walls, we love cafe’s that showcase and intertwine with other creative industries. What a great way to support local artists, a little different to the random works you see in your local Weatherspoons aye!

Despite being slightly outside of Croydon, I think we can squeeze them into this weeks blog – how can we not with a piano inside the place!
The interior at No 241 Norwood speaks for itself and so do the reviews. This fresh new cafe oozes class and really puts a twist on the standard functionalities of a coffee shop. Serving coffee and food during the day, and switching to gin and wine in the evening.
A great spot for any occasion – be sure to check them out.
