The RWRD Guide To The Best Coffee in Kennington

We take a look at some of the best shops featured on RWRD in Kennington. Discover more leading spots across the UK & beyond in the app – download free on iOS or Android.

Urban Botanica

????14 Windmill Row, London SE11 5DW

Founded in 2018, Urban Botanica grew from the idea to create a space that was simply more than just another London Cafe. Working in partnership with Horsham Coffee Roaster, where Stephen; the main operator of the shop, spent four years working.

The foundation of the cafe is to enable Horsham Coffee to continue and expand the work they do with coffee producers at origin. To do this, they serve exclusively single origin coffee, from coffee producers the roastery works with year after year. With a particular focus on Rwanda and the One Tree Planted reforestation project.

Bouquets and Bees

????286 Kennington Rd, London SE11 5DU

Bouquets and Beans was born out of social enterprise and has a huge place in Kennington’s local community. A perfect blend to inspire you and make days feel better – That’s what their happy customers tell us

As you pass by, take a moment to breathe in the floral scents and freshly brewed Monmouth Coffee and have a chat with our super-friendly, always smiling local hero. If you’re passing, grab a coffee, snack and have a chat or buy some flowers to brighten your day.

They’re outside come rain or shine.

Vanilla Black

????306 -308 Kennington Road, London SE11 4LD

Vanilla Black Coffee & Books is a unique destination in the heart of Kennington. Serving Brunch, Cakes and Coffee, with a boutique selection of Books, Gifts and Greetings Cards.

The Songbird Cafe

????Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park, Lambeth SE1

Having renovated the kiosk in Summer 2022, they’re now open daily serving barista coffee with Curious Roo beans, sandwiches, their signature bakery items, artisan soft-serve ice cream and Jude’s mini tubs and lollies.

They can’t wait to welcome you to this sheltered spot under a beautiful lime tree. You will find picnic bench seating just next door to the kiosk. Wrap up warm if it’s a chilly day and enjoy one of their delicious hot drinks under the London sky.
